Marián Sekerák

born in 1989, he studied political science at Matej Bel University in Banská Bystrica (Slovakia) and obtained his Ph.D. at the Institute of Political Studies of the Faculty of Social Sciences of Charles University (the Czech Republic). He currently works as an analyst and a university lecturer. He specializes in political theory, theory of democracy, diplomatic activities of the Holy See, and selected theological issues. In 2013 he published a book entitled Economic Democracy: History, Theory and Practice. His scientific texts have been published in various books and journals, such as Italian Political Science Review, Studia Politica: Romanian Political Science Review, Studia theologica, Utrecht Law Review, Sociológia, Studia Politica Slovaca, Politologická revue (Czech Political Science Review), and others. He is a member of the Social Issues Working Group of the Czech Bishops’ Conference.
